England U20 coach Brian Eastick was pleased with their 0-0 draw against World Cup opponents Argentina.

The result keeps their hopes of progress alive after their previous 0-0 draw with North Korea.

Eastick said: "Argentina got very frustrated because they couldn't play the sort of football they wanted to play. I'm proud of the way my players kept their cool under some severe provocation.

"We played a very, very good Argentina side in heat, at altitude, in South America. I wouldn't call it a defensive performance; I'd call it an excellent performance."

England face Mexico in their final group clash on Friday morning.
