England boss Gareth Southgate is unsure if Phil Foden will face Hungary in the Nations League on Tuesday.

The Manchester City playmaker was ruled out of the reverse tie and draw with Germany after testing positive for Covid-19.

Foden returned to training last week but still missed Saturday's goalless draw with Italy.

Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Southgate said: "We've got to chat with our physical performance guys and our medical team.

"He's back in training but there's a reality of how much conditioning he's had over the last three weeks and what our expectation of him could be. We'll do that as the day progresses."
