England legend Terry Butcher is unimpressed by Chelsea defender David Luiz.

The 29-year-old kept his place for last night's 4-2 EFL Cup win at Leicester and saw his side go two goals down within 35 minutes.

And asked why Chelsea have started conceding more goals, Butcher told the Daily Express: "David Luiz is back. I could not believe Chelsea took him.

"I honestly couldn't believe that and all of a sudden now it's panic stations, goals flying in when David Luiz's in and John Terry's out.

"I think it just shows you how much John Terry organises and how much respect he has of his fellow defenders.

"Stop pulling your socks over your knees, stop wearing these bloomin' under-shorts and the big hair and just be a defender.

"Kick the ball in the stands if you have to. Clean sheets makes no defeats, that's what we always said and wanted."
