Wayne Rooney deserves a send off cap with England, according to the national team's current captain.
Striker Harry Kane has no issues with Rooney getting his 120th cap as England play the United States in a friendly on November 15.
Some have criticised the move, calling it a ceremonial cap and nothing more.
"I do not know too much about how he is going to do it or how long he is going to play," Kane said to Sky Sports after Tottenham' win over PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League.
"But it will be great to see him again, see a few of the boys and a great experience for a few of the younger players in the team.
"Everyone should get right behind it and give him a great send-off."
