Barnes is among those who are being assessed by England coaches and Southgate, per the Daily Mail.

It is unclear if he will get a call-up for their coming qualifiers, or future squads.

Barnes has 13 goals in the league since the start of 2019, with only Sadio Mane (14) having more in that spell.

Barnes is certainly climbing the pecking order of England strikers.
