Enda Stevens admits his first week at Aston Villa has been "surreal".
Stevens completed his move to Villa from Shamrock Rovers on a three-and-a-half year deal this week after signing a pre-contract agreement last summer.
"It was a bit surreal on the first day when you're training and I was a bit nervous to be fair," smiled Stevens with the Sunday Mercury. "But they were great and they welcomed me with open arms. They don't leave you on your own or anything like that, so it was a great day.
"There's a few Irish here and that's obviously good for me because I can learn from them. I've been to many of the games at Lansdowne Road to watch Ireland play, I went to France with the Thierry Henry handball in that game. "
