Borussia Dortmund midfielder Emre Can has revealed he turned down Manchester United in January.
Can signed for BVB on-loan to June from Juventus in the final days of the winter market. But he has since signed permanently.
And he revealed to Kicker: “I had three offers from the Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, but I didn't think about it for a second because of my Liverpool past.
"I always liked Borussia, I wanted to go to a team where I could become an important person, to a team where I was needed.
"In Dortmund, everything turned out exactly the way I wanted. Borussia fits me perfectly, and vice versa, I fit it perfectly."
