Empoli striker Andrea Pinamonti says he feels ready for an Italy call.
Pinamonti is on-loan at Empoli from Inter Milan and has scored 12 goals this season.
He told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "I feel ready to be part of the new Azzurri cycle: this year I have grown a lot and I do not set limits.
"Entering the national team will be a new goal, starting from next season. It would be nice to reform the group with (Nicolo) Zaniolo, (Gianluca) Scamacca and (Sandro) Tonali to give satisfaction to the Italians.
"(Roberto) Mancini is not afraid to launch young players, if one works and improves, there is no age for the national team."
