Maurizio Sarri is set to be confirmed as Napoli coach.

Empoli President Fabrizio Corsi insists Sarri has left them for Napoli.

"They called me and said Sarri has already signed for Napoli," Corsi told TuttoNapoli.net.

"I am very happy for him, as he deserves it, regardless of the disappointment that he left us. We did everything to keep him here, but it was not possible.

"I would also be happy for De Laurentiis, who finally has a Coach who can really work on tactical and physical issues.

"Sarri will make the Partenopei very happy. It's impossible that Napoli were 20 points behind Juventus, as the gap at most should've been seven with that squad.

"In terms of tactics and physical stamina, our old Coach can give big guarantees.
