Empoli coach Zanetti hails matchwinner Baldanzi; declares Parisi 'could've been playing for Inter Milan'

Empoli coach Paolo Zanetti hailed matchwinner Tommaso Baldanzi after victory at Inter Milan.

Baldanzi struck the only goal of the game last night at San Siro stadium.

"He made the difference," said Zanetti, "and we are talking about an extraordinary talent."

On defender Fabiano Parisi, Zanetti also said: "I think he's one of the quickest, with Vicario. He's got a great talent, he played at San Siro but he made my heart race, he comes out in the middle of two-three in the 90th minute. He has the courage to play, he does it at San Siro as if it were his home pitch.

"This bravado leads him to be attractive for the big names, he knows how to handle pressure: he needs to improve in numbers, he can make a few more assists but I think it's part of his growth path.

"What he did tonight could have been fine on the other side too."
