Sheik Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum is being tipped to buy into Arsenal.

The Daily Mail says Sheik Ahmed, chairman of Emirates Airlines, who are Arsenal's stadium and shirt sponsors, has emerged as the most credible candidate interested in buying Lady Nina Bracewell-Smith's 16 per cent shareholding which is on the market.

Sheik Ahmed, whose horse racing interests have reduced, is known to be a major football fan.
