Arsenal are close to securing midfielder Emile Smith Rowe to a new contract.
Football.london journalist Chris Wheatley claims that an extension is very close for Smith Rowe.
The deal will ensure the midfielder stays at the Emirates Stadium club until 2026 by adding three years to his existing contract.
According to the report, there was little to no chance of Smith Rowe departing, as there is a will on both sides to continue this relationship.
Smith Rowe became a key member of Mikel Arteta's team towards the back end of this past season, as he was pivotal in their resurgence post-Boxing Day.
