Arsenal manager Unai Emery is instilling a winning mentality into the club.

That is according to defender Rob Holding, who made his first appearance of the season in the 2-0 win over Everton.

The win put Arsenal up into sixth position, a single point away from the top four.

And Holding believes they will continue to improve under Emery this season.

"We wanted a winning mentality and that was a big thing with the boss coming in," said Holding to Arsenal.com after the game.

"That's something that we've got to stick to and you get that with wins. They build your confidence up and you go into each game thinking that we can win this game and it gives us all a boost."
