Unai Emery says Mesut Ozil is motivated to play for Arsenal.

Ozil returned to training this week after a back spasm kept him out of the last win over Fulham.

Arsene Wenger suggested Ozil's retirement from Germany could impact his motivation but Emery does not believe that to be true.

"His motivation is very clear," said Emery. "We need every player with a big motivation every day, in training, continuing improving and helping us with his quality.

"The same with Mesut as any other player. We want every day to find this in every player."
