Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic has revealed that he is set to extend his contract at Stamford Bridge in the summer.
The Croatian international arrived at the London club last summer for a transfer fee believed to be around £2.5million from Hajduk Split and was immediately sent out on a season-long deal to Spanish club Elche.
The 20-year old has impressed in La Liga, making 34 appearances in all competitions and scoring three goals along the way.
Pasalic said: "Given the intensity of the communications with Chelsea, I'm optimistic that I'll go to London in late May to sign a new deal with them."
