Kiko Casilla is set to return to Leeds United.

Elche are unlikely to convert their loan move into a permanent one for Leeds goalkeeper Casilla this summer.

Casilla made the temporary switch to Elche almost 12 months ago but has struggled for game time after being dropped to the bench in October.

According to Diario Informacion, Casilla will instead return to Leeds, with Elche turning their attention elsewhere in a search for a new goalkeeper.

His contract at Elland Road does not expire until 2023 but it appears as though his future at Leeds is over one way or another.
