Elche coach Jose Rojo Martin admits they face losing on-loan midfielder Gonzalo Villar.

The 21 year-old's parent club Valencia are in talks to sell the youngster to AS Roma.

"It's true, there is an important offer for the lad. We are waiting for their decision," said Martin.

“I don't want him to leave, but I have to understand. Everyone knows that he is a very important player for me and we are waiting.

“We want to continue counting on him because, if he leaves, we will have problems."

Roma have tabled a €5m bid for Villar in recent days.
