Newcastle United target Hugo Ekitike is ready to cut down on his holiday to secure his dream transfer.

The Reims youngster's representatives are holding talks with the Magpies this week.

According to Chronicle Live, a medical has already been set up in case Newcastle can quickly finalise terms on the £26.5 million deal.

Ekitike is keen to move to the Premier League, but has one key condition.

He wants regular first team football, and does not want to move to a club where he will spend a lot of time on the bench.

Newcastle are also closing in on the signing of Nick Pope from Burnley.
