Eintract Frankfurt admits powerless to keep Man Utd target Rebic

Manchester United are being linked with a move for Croatian attacker Ante Rebic.

And it appears his club side Frankfurt are not in a position to stand in his way.

Rebic, who is now in the World Cup Final with Croatia, is seen as someone who can add the right qualities to the United attack.

A move would be expensive, but it appears his club are not going to stand in the way if the interest becomes more concrete.

Frankfurt sporting director Fredi Bobic had the following to say on the links:

"I am very happy about the success of Ante Rebic with the Croatian national team," Bobic told Sport1.

"The players and the coaching team are watching the World Cup games together in the training camp in the USA and, of course, are especially excited about Ante.

"So far, there are no offers available and we're planning a steady season with Ante Rebic for the new season.

"Of course we know that a lot can happen when a big club makes an offer.

"We cannot compete economically with the big ones, but that's nothing new."
