Real Madrid defender Jesus Vallejo hopes to use his loan move to Eintracht Frankfurt to catch the eye of coach Zinedine Zidane.
Vallejo has joined Real on a season-long loan.
He told El Periodico de Aragon, "If I signed as a Madrid player it is to go there someday, even though I know it's hard. Tomorrow we'll see, I just have to work with humility and ambition.
"There was a very strong Eintracht offer, Madrid agreed and I was very interested in coming here. I toyed and analyzed things leaning on my people. I am a Real Madrid player and I do what I'm told.
"When I signed a year ago, I was perfectly aware of that. And what I am, above all, is happy because a club of the level of Eintracht love me.
"My desire is to respond fully to that trust."
