Eintracht Frankfurt made attempt for Man Utd defender Lindelof

Eintracht Frankfurt failed with an attempt for Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof before the transfer deadline fell on Tuesday.

BILD says the Europa League holders wanted to take Lindelof on-loan to the end of the season.

However, their approach was rejected by United, with manager Erik ten Hag insisting the Sweden captain is a required player.

Inter Milan received the same answer when they tried for Lindelof last week.
