Eintracht Frankfurt defender Jesus Vallejo returns to Real Madrid

Jesus Vallejo has spent time back at Real Madrid.

Marca says Real Madrid are making moves to ensure that Eintracht Frankfurt loanee Vallejo is performing to the level required of him in order for the young centre-back to return to his parent club in the summer as a more complete player.

The Spaniard has recently spent one week in Madrid, visiting Valdebebas, in order to aid his recovery from a muscle problem that he picked up several weeks ago. Vallejo himself had opted to use his parent club's medical staff to get himself fit for action once again.

It is not the first time that the central defender has used Real Madrid's physios. Last season, while he was with Real Zaragoza, he continued to use the medical department despite being out on loan in the Segunda Division.

Eintracht Frankfurt, meanwhile, have asked for Vallejo's loan deal to be extended for another campaign, after impressing everyone both at the club and in the Bundesliga.
