Eintracht Frankfurt defender Jesus Vallejo is delighted with his progress in Germany.
Vallejo hopes he's playing his way to a future with parent club Real Madrid.
"I always say the same thing: if I signed for Madrid it is because I have the utmost enthusiasm to play there someday," he told AS. "We all like to be in the locker room with the best players in the world and compete against the best teams, and that's Madrid.
"But I have I remain focused on Eintracht, not worth thinking about it and not doing it. I focus on continuing to play here, in the short term. My mentality has not changed at all, I have very clear ideas.
"I focus only on playing to the maximum. The world of football is always changing. Today you are better and tomorrow may be worse, you never know ... I want to keep this record and improve my level."
