Eintracht Frankfurt defender Jesus Vallejo knows parent club Real Madrid is following him.

The 19 year-old has been identified by his employers as the potential long-term replacement for Pepe.

"Before I left, Real Madrid made it clear to me that they would track my progress," Vallejo told MARCA.

"They said that they wouldn't call me every week but I'm aware that they are following me."

He added: "I always said that if I signed for Real Madrid then it is because I believe I can play there.

"At the moment I'm focused on what I have to do at Eintracht because if I wasn't that would be wrong.

"But it is clear that I still have the dream of one day playing for Real of course."
