Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta had eight U23 players train with the first team squad this week.

Jeorge Bird's Arsenal youth website reports Salah-Eddine was included, having made the bench for the Carabao Cup win against Leeds United. Tim Akinola also was promoted.

Zak Swanson trained, as did right-back Ryan Alebiosu and left-back Joel Lopez.

Tunisia international centre-back Omar Rekik was involved along with another defender in Mazeed Ogungbo and striker Mika Biereth.
