Eibar refuse to give up on keeping hold of Asier Riesgo.

The veteran goalkeeper, 34, is off contract at the end of month and has an offer to extend his stay by a year.

However, Mundo Deportivo says Eibar management have yet to hear back from Riesgo during the summer break about whether he wants to stay.

The big problem for Eibar is the interference of Manchester City.

City want to bring in Riesgo as goalkeeper cover behind Ederson and Claudio Bravo.

Eibar management remain hopeful of him staying, with the veteran regarded highly by everyone inside the club.
