Wolves midfielder Dave Edwards has been ruled out for up to 10 weeks with an ankle ligament injury. The Wales international was injured during Saturday's 1-0 win at Tottenham and is facing the threat of surgery.

He is the third Wolves player to sustain ankle damage in less than a month.

Boss Mick McCarthy said: "Losing Dave is another big blow for us.

"Dave has always been available. He is very versatile and has done very well this season. He has done everything we have asked.

"Losing three players so quickly is a problem we could have done without."
