Eduardo Berizzo has confirmed he's leaving Celta Vigo.
The coach has has announced that he will not continue as Celta Vigo manger next season after failing to reach an agreement with president Carlos Mouriñoto to extend his contract, which ends on June 30.
Berizzo informed his players in training on Saturday morning at the training ground at A Madroa and then revealed the decision in his pre-game press conference ahead of Sunday's final La Liga game against Real Sociedad at Balaidos.
The Argentine coach arrived three summers ago from Chilean side O'Higgins, taking over from Luis Enrique.
During his time in charge, Celta have reached two Copa del Rey semifinals (2016 and 2017), although they have never made a final. Berizzo is now in the running to replace Jorge Sampaoli at Sevilla.
