Eduardo Berizzo is set to be confirmed new coach of Sevilla.

The former Celta Vigo coach has agreed to take over from Jorge Sampaoli as coach of the LaLiga outfit and now just needs to sign his contract to finalise the move.

Berizzo met Óscar Arias, the sporting director at Sevilla, on Friday to thrash out the details of his contract, and it's expected to be announced at the start of next week.

After Sampaoli's departure was confirmed, Sevilla are getting ready to bring in their new coach and start planning signings for next season. Berizzo was always the favourite to take over the role.
