Edgar Davids is expected to leave Crystal Palace.

The Mail on Sunday says Davids is likely to leave Crystal Palace after struggling to make an impression during his brief pay-as-you-play stint at Selhurst Park.

Davids was missing again from Palace's game at Preston, the latest setback for the 37-year-old midfielder who has graced some of Europe's biggest clubs.

Palace have won one of only six matches in which Davids has taken part and he had already been substituted when they scored their goals in a 2-1 win at Norwich.
