Nathan Eccleston struck a hat-trick for Liverpool U18 in their 5-0 romp over West Brom on Saturday.

German Marvin Pourie and Michael Collins sandwiched Eccleston's treble in the victory and Reds coach Hughie McAuley told the club's website afterwards: "Nathan took his goals well.

"His finishing has been very impressive this season and after the New Year he needs to keep working hard and keep scoring goals. If he does that then who knows what he can achieve."
