Eadie happy for Maddison over Leicester move

Former Norwich and Leicester City midfielder Darren Eadie is happy for James Maddison over his imminent move to the Foxes.

Maddison is set to finalise a £22million move to City after completing his medical on Monday.

Eadie completed the same move when he became Leicester's record signing in a £3m deal from Norwich in December 1999.

“Good luck to James Maddison who appears to be joining Leicester from Norwich," tweeted Eadie, who went on to score two goals in 45 appearances for Leicester. “I followed the same path in 1999.

“Leaving a great club to join another great club, both with superb fans."
