Dyche rejects idea Burnley need squad adjustment

Burnley manager Sean Dyche does not believe that he has to perform major surgery on his squad.

The Clarets are struggling at present, as they have lost three games in a row.

They were abject in their 5-0 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend, and have now conceded 11 goals in the past three games, which is unlike Dyche's teams.

Burnley are in the thick of the relegation battle with 18 points from 16 games. They sit in 13th place, but only three points above safety.

"The rejuvenation of last year, I don't think we are there yet," said Dyche to reporters.

"We are at a higher level than that. 18 points tells you that.

"But it is still that edge that you need, that competitive edge, which is important and we have softened on that but it is against two of the top sides (Spurs and Man City) so the balance is there to be seen."
