Sean Dyche has insisted that his side will only gain from their Europa League experience.
Burnley were not able to reach the group stages of the competition, losing to Olympiacos in the last playoff round.
But Dyche believes the experience of playing in Europe for the first team will do his team a lot of good.
"I think we've learned a lot on and off the pitch, and I think you saw a side that wanted it to carry on," he said to the Lancashire Telegraph of the game against Olympiacos.
"That's important, considering how many of you have been saying no one wants it.
"That's our mentality, we want to win every game we play.
"There's been a lot of learning curves for me, my staff and the players."
