Sean Dyche is happy with the quality and numbers in his Burnley squad for the new season.
The Clarets manager did not have a huge summer budget, unlike some other clubs in the division.
He also had to deal with a number of injuries last season, which led to him turning to the club's youngsters.
But he believes they have a squad capable of pushing up the table this season.
He said to reporters: "We're getting back to fitness, Steven [Defour] is a longer term situation but is back on the grass, Robbie [Brady] is hopefully going to be back on the grass in the next week or so, and Charlie [Taylor] was back on the bench.
"The bench will change and at times the team will change as well because I want to keep the players alive, there's a really good group and I've enjoyed what they've done in pre-season, so I want to make sure everyone has a part and everyone is alive and stimulated and ready to play."
