Dyche expects Vydra to remain at Burnley

Matej Vydra is set to stay at Burnley for the time being.

The attacker was among those who was linked with a move away from the club during the transfer window.

Vydra played 13 games in the Premier League last season, scoring one goal and providing a single assist.

He was not involved in the club's most recent friendly game against Parma.

However, Dyche believes there is a significant chance the Czech international will remain at the club.

"Yes, there is every chance," Dyche said to reporters of Vydra staying.

"I have made it clear many times, we are not in a position where we need to sell anyone.

"Any sale will be thought through, it won't be a case of we need to sell someone, quite obviously after the years in the Premier League and we are not throwing money around. We are not under pressure to sell anyone."
