Dutch pundit: Van de Beek hasn't just forgotten how to play at Man Utd - but how to walk!

Dutch pundit Valentijn Driessen is stunned by the struggles of Donny van de Beek at Manchester United.

And he insists the former Ajax midfielder needs to "pack his bags" if he doesn't see action tonight in the Carabao Cup semifinal against Manchester City.

He wrote for De Telegraaf: "If Van de Beek again does not get a minute of playing time in Manchester United-Manchester City on Wednesday, then it is best to pack his bags straight away.

"Despite the overcrowded Christmas and New Year's program, he never left the bench at United.

“Anyone who saw Van de Beek in the last Champions League match at RB Leipzig in the 46th minute, got the idea that he had not only forgotten how to play football, but also how to walk. There, someone who did not know what to do with himself or when the ball moved, simply moved stiffly and had completely lost his quality and instinct to appear at the right place at the right time.

“For the time being, Van de Beek is the biggest bad buy of the four Ajax players (who have left over the past two summers)."
