Dutch football identities are backing Gini Wijnaldum to star for Liverpool in tonight's Champions League final against Tottenham.
Former Reds star Dirk Kuyt, now youth coach with Feyenoord, is hopeful his old club win tonight.
"It would be fantastic for Dutch football if Wijnaldum and (Virgil) van Dijk were holding that Cup in their hands," said Kuyt.
Former Feyenoord coach Gio Van Bronckhorst also said, “Wijnaldum made a huge contribution to reaching the final. As a football fan, I enjoyed him and Liverpool. He and his teammates must win that Cup."
And former Swansea City midfielder Leroy Fer added: "Gini has to win that Cup. It was just wonderful to see my buddy shine like that in the semi-final against Barcelona."
