Feyenoord legend Win van Hanegem slammed Dele Alli after Tottenham's Champions League final defeat to Liverpool on Saturday night.

Van Hanegem branded the England midfielder the "worst player on the pitch" before he was hooked by manager Mauricio Pochettino.

He said, “Dele Alli was by far the worst player on the pitch, but he was allowed to stay on for a very long time. Lucas Moura came on really late, moreover everything showed that Harry Kane was just not physically ready to play.

"Fernando Llorente may not be my type of player, he has proven that he can bring something new when he enters the field. So bring him into the game a little earlier."
