Dusan Vlahovic a record breaker with Fiorentina hat-trick

Dusan Vlahovic broke several records with his hat-trick for Fiorentina in victory over Benevento.

The 21-year-old Serbian hit the back of the Benevento net three times at the Stadio Vigorito, before the game was even midway through.

Incredibly, not even the great Gabriel Batistuta had achieved this feat in the top flight wearing a Viola jersey.

The last Fiorentina player to bag a treble in the first half of a Serie A match was Kurt Hamrin back on February 2, 1964.

“I have to be honest, it's an incredible sensation. However, even more importantly we won the game and took home three points," Vlahovic told Sky Italia.

“I want to dedicate this hat-trick to my family and can't wait to celebrate with them."
