Dunn warns Blackburn teammates of derby atmosphere

David Dunn has warned Blackburn Rovers teammates of the white-hot atmosphere ahead of today's derby against Burnley.

Rovers will host the Clarets today, but Dunn still maintains: "When we went to Turf Moor nine seasons ago we had players who had been in Merseyside, Old Firm and London derbies and I told them the atmosphere would be really tense.

"They said, 'No, no' but admitted after, 'Bloody hell, you weren't wrong'. I've been on at the present players, but so has the kit-man, Harry Kenyon.

"He's a big Blackburn fan and been telling the foreign players what it means and that we can't lose. Burnley are always the sworn enemy.

"I was at Burnley's centre of excellence when I was about eight, but I saw the light. I was just waiting for that knock on the door from Blackburn and eventually it came."
