Brazil World Cup winning captain Carlos Dunga believes there's confusion inside the Federation about their move for Carlo Ancelotti.
The Real Madrid coach is a confirmed target for the Brazilian Federation, though as yet no offer has been made.
Dunga told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "I don't know if it's him, he's certainly a very capable one.
"He's won everywhere, when he arrived at Real Madrid the team seemed finished and he regenerated the environment. But I don't know anything, they don't even know it in the federation let alone me...
"They seem very stressed to me, however, they haven't taken a direction yet. Carletto is a great name, he knows how to communicate with the players and is used to working with Brazilians."
