Dundee United want £1.5 million for Everton target Andy Robertson.

The Daily Star says Toffees boss Roberto Martinez made a spying mission to Scotland on Sunday to watch the attacking 19-year-old left-back against Hibs.

Everton had been poised to table a £750,000 offer for the promising youngster, capped three times by Scotland at under-21 level, and then loan him back for the rest of this season.

But the Tannadice club have indicated Everton must offer a total package closer to double that figure if they want to sign him.
