Johnny Russell has remained with Dundee United despite plenty of interest from Championship clubs.
The 22-year old striker had emerged as a target for the likes of Sheffield United, Huddersfield and Nottingham Forest late in the transfer window but none of the trio were successful in their approaches.
Russell has been key to the Arabs' fortunes this season with nine Scottish Premier League goals which has the Tannadice club placed seventh on the table.
