Dundee boss Alex Rae has warned Everton off his young midfielder Kevin McDonald.

"As far as we're concerned it's just speculation. There has been no contact from Everton or from anyone at the club," Rae told setantasports.com.

"So it's probably just paper talk as far as we are aware."
