Former Barcelona striker Christophe Dugarry is backing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba for a move to Real Madrid.

Pogba talked up the move this week after the return of coach Zinedine Zidane.

Dugarry told RMC: "I have no information but I think that Real will be on Pogba this summer. Because I think the player will be interested, that Manchester may be interested in a very important offer.

"The marriage can be excellent because Pogba remains a high level player and he would blend perfectly in the game of Real Madrid. I am convinced that Zizou would manage to take him up a level."
