France World Cup winner Christophe Dugarry is urging PSG to move for Atletico Madrid defender Lucas Hernandez.

Bayern Munich are prepared to meet Lucas' €80m buyout clause at the end of this season. However, Dugarry says PSG should also throw their hat in the ring.

Dugarry told RMC: "When I saw the news about Lucas Hernandez, I said to myself, 'What is PSG doing?'

"He is the very profile of the player that is needed at Paris Saint-Germain. He can play on the left, he can play in the axis, he has an irreproachable state of mind. He is a good player, able to do a lot of things. He is French. What are they waiting for? What are they waiting for?

"I told myself that we must at all costs see PSG move for this player. This is the future of world football, whether in the axis or on the side. You have to go for Lucas Hernandez. He's the player who is needed by PSG."
