Shane Duffy says Brighton fans shouldn't be scared about the upcoming season.
The Seagulls narrowly avoided relegation last season and another tough campaign is expected
Duffy told The Argus: "I can understand the sense of unknown but every season is different no matter what you achieve during the campaign before.
"Even if you've had an unbelievable season before, you never know what a new one will bring because it's always a fresh start.
"That's what it is for us under the new manager, we have a few new players as well so it's exciting.
"The fans have to be patient as well because it's a new manager with a new set of ideas and it might not happen straight away.
"As long as we work hard and add a bit more going forward, we'll get the right balance to take us on to better things."
