Burnley's Michael Duff is urging his side to improve in attack following their shock Capital One Cup exit.
The Clarets were knocked out of the League Cup at the hands of Port Vale this week and the result was certainly a disappointing one for the Lancashire club.
Defender Duff believes that Burnley did well defensively on the night despite the defeat and has urged the attacking department to improve their performances.
"It felt like we were solid. I don't think Gilksy (goalkeeper Matt Gilks) had a save to make, so that side of it was pretty good," the 37-year-old said.
"We just need to create a bit more and get a bit more free-flowing going forward, which is something we'll work on.
"I was on the line, it was clearly in. Referees and linesman get a lot of stick, he took a long time to give it, but he gave the right decision ultimately and you don't mind waiting as long as they give the right decision.
"I don't think other than the goal there was a shot on target during the game, it was very tight, bitty, there was no real flow to it, even the goal has come from more of a cross than shot."
