Chelsea are watching Montreal Impact starlet Ballou Jean-Yves Tabla.

ESPN reports Chelsea are keeping their eye on the young winger after they were tipped off on his talent by Didier Drogba, who played for Montreal last season.

Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg are also considering a move for Tabla.

The youngster has made 17 MLS appearances this season and has broken into the Canadian youth set-up.

He's considering switching his international allegiance to the Ivory Coast, the country of his birth.
